Happy Customers at Harris Paint Horses...

It's been an extremely taxing past few months for me with school, having a preemie with umpteen issues, and gearing up for breeding season.
However, I was reflecting on my blessings tonight. Tonight, I want to to talk about a woman who's commitment to customer service goes above and beyond industry standard to ensure her customer's dreams are met and exceeded. Mrs. Cindy Harris, I honestly don't know what I would do without you. You took us in back in 2014 at a moment's notice in a desperate time of need when it became apparent that my stallion had lost considerable condition at his former place of standing. You worked tirelessly and diligently to not only keep him alive, but ensure our customers' mares were bred in a timely manner and with the best possible semen he could give despite his poor condition. When I brought him back home that season, he was the same Ozzie he had always been, temperament wise.

And although I chose to not stand him last year to let him recuperate, you ma'am were my only consideration when deciding where he would be sent to stand the 2016 breeding season. In addition, you went above and beyond the call of duty to drive up to PA, pick up Ozzie AND our gelding several months early, due to me giving birth to my son so early. You even brought gifts to my son, which you didn't even have to do, although they are very much cherished and appreciated.

You work tirelessly to ensure he is always comfortable. You work tirelessly to ensure he has the best possible mare to tease with his finicky self. You work tirelessly standing there waiting for him to take his sweet ass time in the breeding shed... because as you know... rape is just not his forte'. He's a lover... not a fighter. You put up with his little quirks and mischievous antics... like pulling the plug out of the waterer even after Tim put a bar over it thinking he wouldn't be able to get to it. Surprise!!!! LOL!

I love that you keep an open line of communication with me, as well as my customers, and you always ensure my customers are very well taken care of. We are off to a great start this season with several stellar shipments already delivered. I have had nothing but positive feedback from our customers. YOU are the reason I am able to follow my breeding dreams, and I cannot thank you enough for all that you do. I trust you, more than you probably realize. I like the fact that I don't have to worry about my horse when he is with you. I know that he is happy, healthy, loved, and pampered just as he is when he is at home. I also love that I can come and see him whenever I want.

Cindy Harris, THANK YOU for everything. You will ALWAYS have my business. And for those of you hunting for an extremely reputable stallion station, I highly recommend Cindy Harris. Quality, professionalism, and a high class facility with superior industry knowledge. There really is no replacement.

I was looking thru the Paint Horse Journal one night last year and saw a picture of the prettiest filly I had ever seen.  My husband said "call," "call" to see about her. And so it began a wonderful relationship with Tim and Cindy Harris.  As it turned out I was a day late for the filly but Cindy sent me pictures of a most handsome colt by Awesome Andy.  "Jackson" is incredible.  Great conformation, smart and does his father proud.  He won his weanling futurity and stood Reserve Champion his first time out.

I have been so taken by what a good minded colt Jackson is that I had to have another Awesome Andy horse.  Cindy and Tim are the most fantastic people to deal with.  Cindy especially, moved heaven and earth to help me fulfill my dream of owning Jackson's 3/4 brother.  He is a big boy, and so sweet to be around.  He will try to climb in your back pocket.  The disposition of these two Awesome Andy horses is wonderful.

There farm is beautiful, everything is spotless.  A wonderful place to raise foals and super safe for the mares.  I have told everybody I know about Harris Paints and I feel very fortunate that one night last year I called Cindy and I now have a good friend and two beautiful horses.

Just wanted to shoot you a quick note to tell you how awesome Apollo is doing!  He trailered in fantastic; only looked around for about 2 minutes and then stepped off the trailer like an old pro who had done it a million times!    He is eating great and has been such a treat to watch playing in his stall and paddock.  He's just been awesome!  He is truly a great example of the high quality, intelligent horses your breeding program produces!  Everyone at the barn loves him and he has been entertaining everyone!  Thank you so much for giving us the opportunity to own this wonderful little colt...we absolutely adore him!  All the people at the barn are so impressed with his manners, how social he us, and how good he is about having hands on him...truly a credit to you!  Thank you a million times for everything, especially your patience with us and our frequent visits!  We will keep you posted!

When we made the very difficult decision several years ago to retire from the horse business, the most worrisome part was the realization that we would have to sell our World Champion APHA Stallion Awesome Andy. Purchasing Andy as a yearling and promoting him through to a World Championship as a 2 year old then bringing him home to start a breeding career which quickly put him on the leading sires list, was the culmination of a lifetime dream. Letting go of that dream was heatbreaking - until it became a dream come true; when Cindy Harris contacted us about purchasing Andy we were thrilled. Having worked with Cindy in the past when shipping semen to clients mares we knew of Harris Paint Horses excellent reputation in the industry - both through word of mouth and personal experience.

Although we all shed a tear the day Tim and Cindy arrived to take Andy to his new home we have watched with pride as they have taken Andy's breeding career far beyond where we ever could have. Many of our past clients have continued to breed to Andy and all have nothing but great things to say about their experiences with Harris Paint horses.

Although there are still days were we regret leaving the horse business, not one day have we ever regretted giving them "our boy".

"Our experience with Harris Paints and Tim & Cindy Harris was entirely enjoyable. Our stallion was there to be collected, evaluated, and storage provided for frozen semen. Cindy called or emailed often with updates on the process and was always professional, knowledgeable, friendly and easy to communicate with.  We have no hesitation in recommending them and their facilities to anyone looking to avail themselves of the Harris' expertise."

"My husband and I have been doing business with Tim and Cindy Harris for many years. We've visited their site, which is immaculately clean, technologically state-of-the-art, and well set up for the safety of the stallions they stand and those who handle them. We've purchased breedings that have produced seven of our show horses. And most recently they made it possible for us to own the stallion that we bred to five times and is now the cornerstone of our own breeding program.
Cindy and Tim have created the blueprint for a successful stallion station that is fair to both stallion owner and mare owner. They consistently have gone above and beyond to get shipments out when our mares were ready to breed, even at times where the mares did not read the timetable and created rush situations.
We are proud to call them friends and cannot recommend them highly enough!"

Thanks so much for the wonderful service that you have provided to get my mares in foal.  Even though we had some problems on my end, you were ever so patient and accommodating to help me get babies.  You have been more than fair with me.  I love doing business with honest, reputable people.  And in my opinion, there is no finer stallion line up than what you have to offer.  I plan to continue doing business with you.  We've been exceptionally pleased.

The service and quality found at Harris Paints is as close to perfection that anyone could ask for! "Awesome Andy" got our mare Miranda in foal while she had a grade 2 infection, with 3 day old semen. I have even called late at night to get semen shipped out and you (Cindy) always manage to get it here on time with an extremely high motility rate. Our vet has repeatedly begged us not to breed to any other stallions after working with "Andy" solely based on his extremely high sperm count.
We own a 2 time World Champion filly by Awesome Andy out of our mare (Guilty as Sin) that has surpassed our wildest dreams. "Perjury" is more than just a beautiful halter mare, she has style, class and an awesome personality. In short she's a real head turner and a total heart stealer.
We have bred to Awesome Andy 5 times now and Conclusive Mister once, repeat business is the best compliment I can give. I have and will continue to recommended Andy and the rest of the stallions at Harris paints to numerous friends and clients. You can count on us to be back in 2009!

I can't tell you how much we appreciate how wonderful you've been throughout the years.  Our first breeding experience with you was almost 10 years ago and you have always gone 110% above and beyond.  You were there in our first years of cooled semen...and you were our first excellent experience with frozen semen as well!  We've always been pleased with your friendliness, professionalism, and dedication to great customer service.  There hasn't been one time when we've been disappointed, and more times than I can count when we've been very happy with your services.  For these many reasons, I've recommended your services to many people over the years and neither I nor they have regretted it.  Here's to many more years of great dealings!

I own and operate a Breeding Facility in Phoenix, Arizona.  At my ranch we have mares of all breeds that come in for shipped semen services.  I deal with many farms across the country ordering semen.  I have had my share of problems with other faciltities until a customer needed an order from Harris.   I have been more than pleased with the service I have received from Harris Paints.
The semen has always been of excellent quality and professionally packaged and shipped.  Every time I have called Cindy I have been treated with friendliness and courtesy.  She has gone above and beyond the normal breeding facility to accommodate me to get my shipments no matter what day of the week it is.
Harris Paints also has a top notch line up of quality stallions to choose from.  I have now bred some of my mares to their stallions knowing I would receive the best in service and the outcome would be a quality foal.  I look forward to doing business with the Harris's in the future.

We bought two horses from Harris Paints in 2007.  One was a mare in foal and the other was a two year old mare.  Since we live in Italy we could not see these horses in person before we bought them.
Catalina Splash, she is the most beautifull, sweet and easiest mare to work with.    She is really easy to handle and easy to breed, just like you said she would be.  My vet was very surprised when she got in foal with 42 hour semen.
Susie (Shes Perfectly Cool) has the greatest head I've ever seen.  Everyone loves her face.  She has really good color and she doesn't have any problems or bad habits.  We are very happy with her.
The horses arrived in Italy without any problems, even though the travel was very long.  This means to me that they were in good health when they left your farm.
As you remember, we had problems getting the funds wired to you because of a bank error, but you were a good person and let the horses leave your farm anyway.
Now we are working together importing frozen semen and I'm sure we will work very good together once again.
Thank you for the time we spent together at your farm last  year.

During the summer of 2004 our beloved APHA show mare Garnet Obsession received severe tendon injury in a pasture accident.  After three months of stall rest our Veterinarian suggested a year of "retirement" to allow Garnet to heal properly and give her a chance to be as sound as possible.
Having read an article in The Paint Horse Journal about Harris Paint Horses, we decided to look into it as a rehabilitation option as the services offered in our area were out of our reach financially.  We made a call to Harris Paints and it has turned out to be the best thing we could ever have done for not only our mare but for our horse related goals as well.
Garnet has recovered to the point of being comfortable and having good quality of life but has also produced a wonderful overo colt from Awesome Andy and is in foal again for 2009.  Our mare's good health and this colt were accomplished by Harris' going the extra miles for us time and time again.  This is the kind of service anyone who goes to Harris Paints will undoubtedly receive.
Tim and Cindy have an excellent facility and offer all the services anyone in the horse world would need for top shelf equine breeding, foaling, and care and then offer it in a friendly, family run, very reasonably priced package.
We as clients, horsemen, and ordinary people could not be more pleased and satisfied than we are with Harris Paint Horses.  We look forward to many more years of collaboration and success with Tim and Cindy and urge anyone in the horse industry to seriously consider Harris Paints as a major contributor to your horse related endeavors.

First and foremost, Cindy Harris is the most capable woman I know. She is very knowledgeable and professional and knows more about breeding then most veterinarians.

I was a hopeful pony breeder when I contacted Harris Paints in 2002. I have now had 12 foals, all conceived AI at Harris Paints. Harris Paints makes breeding easy. Harris Paints means foals in your pasture!

Cindy is very generous with sharing her knowledge and facilities. The farm is very clean and organized and you feel good leaving your mares there. Everyone is very friendly and helpful and kind. Cindy pays attention to every detail and keeps meticulous records of the mares and all procedures and medications.

My mares never want to come home from the "Harris Hilton"....  I always have to have help loading my "self-loading" mares for the return trip...They want to stay!

Having been involved in the horse industry for over twenty years, I have not met anyone else with more knowledge, honesty and integrity as Tim and Cindy Harris.  Every time I have a horse there, whether it is a mare that needs to be bred or foaled out, or a show horse to be fit, I know it will be done right by people I know.  I always recommend Harris Paints to people who have a mare they are breeding, especially ones who are difficult breeders, and anyone with a mare that will be foaling.  There is nowhere else that I know of where you can get services at this level and peace of mind for a price that doesn't prohibit the "average" mare owner from receiving the highest standard of care.
Their stallions are also second to none, with World and Reserve World Champions and producers of the same in their line-up.  Having had two foals by Three Deuces, I have been nothing but impressed by the quality I saw in both foals.  Tim and Cindy also take a great interest in the foals of their stallions before and after they are on the ground.
My mares will never go anywhere but Harris Paints for their breeding needs.

In 2008 Gary & I bred our APHA Superior Halter mare, Justa Sweet Powerplay, own daughter of Mr Power Play, APHA Superior All-around Champion to Awesome Andy for a late January 2009 foal. Harris Paints were extremely easy to do business with, promptly sent cooled semen at the first request. They are always easy to reach, quick to respond to any request & got the semen to us as requested. We are happy to report our mare settled with the first shipment & we eagerly look forward to the birth of our Awesome Andy foal.

When my 23 year old mare, Missy, was released from New Bolton Center after a six week stay I was extremely anxious about her postsurgical care ? she had been given less than a 50% chance of survival. I needed to find a facility that offered around the clock supervision and could attend to the needs of a very special patient. Missy had lacerated her hind fetlock joint and had sustained damage to the joint capsule. She had undergone surgery and would wear a splint and bandage system for the next several months with the hope that the wound would heal. Harris Paints was highly recommended to me by my local veterinarian, and when I visited the facility for the first time I knew that my precious horse would be in good hands.
The owners, Cindy and her husband Tim, as well as their full time assistant, Anna, instantly put me at ease with their easy going nature. They have extensive experience dealing with injuries and post-surgical patients, and although I insisted upon doing all of Missy's wound care, they were always present, and always aware of her exact medical status and needs. During her recovery they administered her medications as needed and guided her through her physical therapy. Cindy is aware of every horse's individual habits and is instantly on guard if they deviate from their normal routine. Her attention to detail and meticulous habits have saved both of my horses lives over the past three years.
In addition to their excellent facilities and level of care for my horses; Cindy, Tim and Anna extended the same support to me. I was extremely anxious about Missy's health and was constantly on edge. They supported me through a very tough six months and were by my side for Missy's triumphs and for the scary close calls. They brought me and my horses (my elderly gelding Cody lives there too now) into their family and we have remained there ever since. Over the last three years I have seen them extend the same warmth and hospitality to all of their clients. Every horse that sets foot on their farm is treated like one of their own, and clients are treated like friends. I have watched them tend for a multitude of horses recovering from different injuries and surgeries, as well as deliver foals that other people would have lost-each life is special to them.
I can't express in words the impact that Harris Paints has made upon my life. I never have to worry about the care that my horses are receiving or that something will be overlooked. I know that a good part of the reason that Missy is alive today is because of them; and that part of the person I am today is also a result of their presence in my life. For both of these I will always be grateful.

We just wanted to let you know how happy we were doing business with you this past breeding season.  Our mare didn't want to co-operate and
we weren't sure we could get a weekend shipment into Canada.  The FedEx office opened at noon on Saturday and we didn't have any problems at all picking it up.  I am sorry we had to give you such short notice for the collection, I hope next time the mare decides to read the book.
Thanks again,

Last sping I was just getting into breeding and had heard from others how user friendly Harris Paints was for shipping semen. So I decided to use Awsome Andy on my mare, I called Cindy up and the breeding contract was very straight forward and understanding.
When my mare was ready to be breed, I simply called her and the semen was there the next day with great mobility, my mare caught no problem on the first time. I live in western Canada and had no problems getting semen from the east coast of the United States, she took care of everything, all I had to do was call. This was my first experience using cooled semen and everything went very well with no problems and no extra fees beyond the Stud Fee.

When we were looking for a place to stand our Reserve World Champion (double registered) stallion "Tributes Mister", the name Harris Paints came up numerous times!! We worried living in Arizona, and Harris's lived in Maryland, that we'd never get to see Mister, much less be able to check up on him!! But, after talking with Cindy, I felt confident that it was the right move!! We sent Mister to the Harris's several years ago, and have NEVER regretted the move, not once!!
The Harris's worked extremely hard to help promote Mister.   They worked extremely hard in the breeding barn to keep his reproduction numbers up and strong for our customers!! And our customers? I don't think I've ever had so many folks compliment the work and the extra effort that the Harris's did to take care of their needs!! It's one thing for US to be happy with them, it's a whole different picture when your customers are happy too!!
I can't thank the Harris's enough for making everything such a positive experience. I don't know if you could find more ethical people in the breeding business anywhere!  And, I wouldn't think twice about recommending them to anyone!!
